The restaurant at The Ritz Carlton in Berlin focuses on regional products and prepares meals that encourage diners to share. Thanks to this concept, which is combined with cozy booths and an open show kitchen, there is a sociable atmosphere among guests and staff. A striking wine list accompanies the offer, comprising no fewer than 200 selected wines of German origin only – with special attention to sustainable winegrowers and names that are not yet established. It is no surprise that POTS so quickly became a firm favourite in the capital’s culinary scene. In the same year the restaurant opened, the jury of Berlin Master Chefs awarded Mathias Brandweiner (only 25 years old at the time) the title of Host of the Year, and the establishment was given 14 Gault Millau points.
