CATWALK Bar

The new Catwalk Bar at the Berlin Marriott Hotel is rapidly gaining a reputation as the hottest new venue in the capital and as place where supermodels are always welcome. The concept of the first fashion bar in Berlin was created by super couturier Michael Michalsky who has conceived every tiny prêt-à-porter detail from the classic Chaplin blazers of the barmen to the black and white frock coats and jumpsuits of the evening staff. "The Catwalk Bar is the first venue in the heart of Berlin to be inspired by fashion and I am delighted to have played such an important role in its creation," Michalsky says. In addition to the gold, blackberry and chrome setting of the bar, the glamour of fashion informs every aspect of the Catwalk Bar from the artful photography on the walls and luxurious lounge couches to the carrara marble Louis XVI console table and the "Hollywood producer" bar stools emblazoned with the names of fashion legends.
